HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 9100 • BILL NO. 5 ORDINANCE NO 9 BY COUNCILMAN jjLred e L AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1-207 OF THE CALDWELL CODE OF 1942 AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCES Nos. 622, 635, 700, 770, 795, 826 AND 854 OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, RELATING TO THE SALARY OF THE CITY CLERK; FURTHER AMENDING SECTION 1-227 OF THE CALDWELL CODE OF 1942 AS AAMENDED BY ORDINANCES Nos. 622, 627, 629, 635, 637, 670, 688, 700, 722, 770, 777, 782, 795, 826, 854 AND 891 OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, RELATING TO THE SALARIES OF THE CITY TREASURER, CITY ENGINEER AND BUILDING INSPECTOR; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE FOR THIS ORDINANCE TO TAKE EFFECT AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. Be it ordained by the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho: Section 1. That Section 1-207 of the Caldwell Code of 1942, as amended by Ordinances Fos. 622, 635, 700, 770, 795, 826 and 854 be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: Il1 -207. Salary of City Clerk.--The salary of the City Clerk shall be the sum of $335- per month, payable monthly in the same manner as other claims against the City are paid." Section 2. That Section 1-227 of the Caldwell Code of 1942, as amended by Ordinances Nos. 622, 627, 629, 635, 637, 670, 688, 700, 722, 770, 777, 782, 795, 826, 854 and 891 be, and the same is hereby amended in part to read as follows: 111-227. Salary for Certain Officers.--The salary of the following city officers shall be as follows: City Treasurer City Engineer Building Inspector y"310-00 per month 550-00 per month 055-00 per month" Section 3. All salary or compensation changes as provided in this ordinance shall become effective as of and from the first day of May, 1957. Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con- flict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 5. This ordinance shall be in force and shall take effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication. PASSED by the Council this day of August, 1957.
