4 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1-1103 OF THE CALDWELL CODE OF 1942
SETTING THE COMPENSATION OF JUDGES OF ELECTION AND CLERKS OF
5 ELECTION AT $6.00 FOR THE PERIOD FROM THE OPENING.TO THE CLOSING
OF THE POLLS AND $1.00.FOR EACH HOUR EMPLOYED IN ELECTION SERVICE
6 AFTER THE CLOSING. OF THE POLLS,, PROVIDED. THAT THE TOTAL COMPENSATIO
SHALL NOT EXCEED $10.00 FOR ANY ONE ELECTION; SETTING THE COOPENSA-
7 TION OF CONSTABLES ON DUTY AT THE POLLING PLACES AT $5.00., SAID COM
PENSATION TO BE IN FULL FOR ALL.SERVICES REGARDLESS OF THE NUMBER 0
8 HOURS OF SERVICE; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCESIN
CONFLICT HEREWITH.

BE IT ORDAINED By the Mayor and City Council of the City

of Caldwell, Idaho, as follows:

Section 1, That Section 1-1103 of the Caldwell Code of

� 1942 be amended to read as follows:

and Deputy Registrars of Election.— Judges and Clerks

of Election shall receive each $6.00 for the period from
the opening to the closing of the polls and $1.00 per
hour for each hour employed in election service after

the close of the polls, provided that the total com-
pensation shall not exceed $10.00 for any one election.

Constables on duty at polling places shall receive
$5.00, such compensation to be in full for all services

regardless of the number of hours of service.) The
compensation of Deputy Registrars shall be thd sum of

$.15 for each name registered."

Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
21
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and
23
after its passage, approval and publication.
