4 i N ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, REGULATING THE ERECTION,
CONSTRUCTION, ENLARGEMENT, ALTERATION, RE-PAIR, MOVING, REMOVAL, DE-
5MOLITION OCCUPANCY, EQUIPMENT, USE, HEIGHT, AREA, AND
MAINTENANCE OF ALL BUILDINGS AND/OR STRUCTURES IN THE CITY OF CALD-
611ELL, IDAHO; PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS AND COLLECTION
OF FEES THEREFOR; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF;
7 D ECLARING AND ESTABLISHING FIRE ZONES; REPEALING TITLE 3, CHAPTERS
1, 2, AND 3 OF CALDWELL CODE OF 1942 AND ANY AND ALL AMENDMENTS
8 THERETO.
9 BE IT ORDAINED by the mayor and Council of the City of
10 Caldwell, Idaho-

11 Section 1. That a certain document, three (3) copies of
12 which are on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of
1.3Caldwell, Idhho, being marked and designated as "Uniform Building
14 Code, 1955 Short Form Edition, published by the Pacific Coast Build-
15 ing, Officials Conference," be and the same is hereby adopted as the
16 building code of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, for regulating the
17 erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, repair, moving,
18 removal, demolition, conversion, occupancy, equipment, use, height,
19 area, and maintenance of-all buildings and/or structures in the City
of Caldwell, Idaho; providing for issuance of permits and-collection
of fees therefor; providing penalties for violation of such code;
declaring and establishing fire zones; and each and all of the
2 regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of such
24 "Uniform Building Code, 1955 Short Form Edition, published by the
25 Pacific Coast Building Officials Conference," on file in the office
26 Of the City Clerk are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part
27 hereof as if fully set out in this Ordinance excepting that the
28 penalties as contained in Section 204 are hereby amended whereby
29 the fine set forth in said Section is reduced from $300.00 to $100.
30 and the imprisonment set forth in said Section is reduced from 90
31 days to 30 days.
1491 Section 2. That Title 3, Chapters 1, 2 and 3 of

Caldwell Code of 1942 and any and all amendments thereto, and all

other Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are
3
hereby repealed.

Section 3. That the entire incorporated area of the City
5
of Caldwell, Idaho, is hereby declared to be and is hereby esta-
g
blished as a Fire District and said fire district shall be known and
7
designated as Fire Zones 1, 2 and 3, and each such zone shall includ(
8
such territory or portions of said city as illustrated, outlined
9
and designated on a certain map on file in the office of the City

Clerk of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, being marked and designated
11
as "Fire Zones of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, which is hereby
12
adopted as the fire zoning map of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, for
13
the application of the regulations included in the "Uniform Building

Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and

after its passage, approval and publication.
