Be it ordained by the 1viayor and Council of the City of
I Caldwell, Idaho:
Section 1. That Section 1-002 of the Caldwell Code of
1942, as amended by ordinances Nos. 627, 637, 070, 068 069, 723,
1 748, 776 and 790 be, and the same is hereby amended to read as
follows:
13 '? 1-bG2. Compensation of appointed and duly constituted
members of the Police Department of the City of Caldwell, Idaho.- -
14 That compensation of appointed and duly constituted members of the
Police Department of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, shall be as
15 follows:
16 Chief of Police ............... 6 ............... 081-15 per month.
Detective Lieutenant ... .........................300.30 per month.
17 Sergeants of Police ........... �0277.20 per month.
P atrolmen ...................... o ....... & ...... <�254-10 per month.
Poundmaster ............ .......................;231600 per month.
18 -, , : a ............... 00 ........ #..* ........... :k�207-90 per month.
19 Frovided that the compensation of Sergeants of Police
20 shall be increased at tine rate of .0-78 per month for each year of
continuous service in that classification until a maximum 3288-76
21 per month has been reached, which shall be the maximum compensation
f or Sergeants of Police.
22 Provided further that the compensation of Patrolmen after
six months of continuous service in that classification shall be at
23 ` the rate of 4259-33 per month; that the compensation of Patrolmen
after one year of continuous service in that classification shall
24 be at the rate of ;:� 2b5.bo per month, which shall be the maximum
-- compensation for that classification."

s ection 2. The compensation change as provided in this

ordinance shall become effective as of and from the first day of

28 May, 1954.
Section 3. All ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
Section k�. This ordinance shall be in force and shall
take effect from and after its passage, approval and publication.
