Blomquist 4 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 -207 OF THE CALDWELL CODE OF 1942 AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCES N0. 622 635 700 AND 770 OF TIM CITY OF 5 CALDWELL, RELATING TO THE SALARY OF THE CITY CLERK; FURTHER AMEND- ING SECTION 1 -227 OF THE CALDIIELL CODE OF 1942 AS AMENDED BY ORD- 6 INANCES NOS 622, 627, 629, 635, 637 670 688, 700 722 770, 777 AND 782 OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL RELATING TO THE SALARIES OF THE 7 CITY TREASURER, DEPUTY CITY CLERK, CITY ENGINEER, ASSISTANT TO CITY ENGINEER AND BUILDING INSPECTOR; FURTHER AMENDING SECTION 1 -810 OF s THE CALDWELL CODE OF 1942 AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCES NOS. 627, 629 637, 670 688 722 AND 777 OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL RELATING TO THE 9 SALARIES TO BE PAID THE DULY CONSTITUTED MEMBERS OF THE FIRE DEPART MENT OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL AND METHOD OF PAY RAISES; FURTHER to AMENDING SECTION 11 -104 OF THE CALDWELL CODE OF 1942 AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCES NOS. 637, 670 688 722 AND 777 OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL 11 RELATING TO THE SALARY OIL THE SEXTON OF THE CEMETERY OF TIME CITY OF CALDI1ELL• AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE FOR THIS ORDINANCE TO 12 TAKE EFFECT AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. 13 Be it ordained by the Mayor and Council of the City of I 14 Caldwell, Idaho: M%� 15 Section 1. That Section 1 -207 of the Caldwell Code of 16 1942 as amended by Ordinances Nos. 622, 635, 700 and 770, be, and 17 the same is hereby amended to read as follows: 19 11 1 -207. Salary of City Clerk.- -The salary of the City Clerk shall be the sum of 9x288.75 per month, payable monthly in the 191 same manner as other claims against the City are paid." 20 Section 2, That Section 1 -227 of the Caldwell Code of 21 1942 as amended by Ordinances Nos. 622, 627, 629, 635, 637, 670, 22 688, 700, 722, 770, 777 and 782, be, and the same is hereby amended 231 in part to read as follows: 24 11 1 -227. Salary for Certain Officers.- -The salary of the following city officers shall be as follows: 25 City Treasurer ........ ........................1288.7 per month. 26 Deputy City Treasurer ......................... 190.00 per month. Deputy City Clerk ...... ...................:...9x231.00 per month. 27 City Engineer .......... .......................9x375.38 per month. Assistant to City Engineer ....................9x288.75 per month. 28 Building Inspector ..... .......................$x259.88 per month. Meat Inspector ... .............................9x 50.00 per month." 29 Section 3. Salary of Officer and Employees.- -The compensa- tion of the officers, members and employees of the fire department shall be as follows: Chief of Fire Department,,,,*.,.,,.,,., ......$311.85 per month. Captain of Fire Department ...................$277.20 per month. Lieutenant of Fire Department*......** .......$265.65 per month. Hosemen of Fire Depart ►ent ...................$242.55 per month. Part Time Flre men ............................ 25.00 per month. Provided that the compensation of the hosemen shall be $248.33 per month after six months continuous service in that class- ification; that the compensation of the hosemen after one year of continuous service in that classification shall be $254.10 per month; that the compensation of the hosemen after one year and six months of continuous service in that classification shall be 6259.88 per month which shall be the maximum compensation for that classifi- cation. The salary of part time firemen is to be diminished at the rate of $5.00 for each fire missed and $3.00 for each drill missed. Call men when answering fire calls shall receive $3.50 for responding to the call when called by the officer in charge of the department and $1.00 per hour or fractional part thereof for time spent in working when called." Section 4. That Section 11 -104 of the Caldwell Code of 6Wr 1942 as amended by Ordinances Nos. 637, 670,,722 and 777 be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "11 -104. Salary of Sexton; Living Quarters.- -The salary of the Sexton of the cemetery of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, shall be the sum of $277.20 per month, payable monthly. The above salary shall be full compensation for all services performed by him as such Sexton; provided that if the Mayor and Council so order, the Sexton may be given the privilege of living in the residence on the cemetery ground without rental therefor." Section 5• All salary or compensation changes as provided Iin this ordinance shall become effective as of and from the first day of May, 1952• Section 6. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 7.
