AN ORDINANCE GIVING NOTICE TO ALL CI`T'IZENS OF AND PROPERTY 01nvTER3
IN THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, THAT AN APPLICATION HAS BEEN PRESET
TED FOR THE VACATION OF POPLAR STREET AS PLATTED IN FOUNTAIN VIEW
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF CALDLTELL, IDAHO, BETI ILLINOIS AVENUE
AND COLLEG AVENUE; PROVIDING FOR THE FILING OF OBJECTIONS THERETO,
AND FILING CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES SUSTAINED THEREBY; PROVIDING FOR THE
ASCERTAINING OF SUCH DAMAGES BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CALDti °TELL; AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION OF THIS ORDINANCE.
Be it ordained and established by the Mayor and Council
of the City of Caldwell, Idaho:
Section 1. That an application has been presented to the
Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, for the passage
and approval of an ordinance vacating Poplar Street from its inter-
section with Illinois Avenue to its intersection with College Ave-
nue; said portion of Poplar Street being vacated is namely that
existing between Blocks 90 and 91 and 80 and 81 of Mountain View
Addition to the City of Caldwell, Idaho, and in which application
the applicants are the owners of property abutting; and adjacent to
said Poplar Street between Illinois Avenue and College Avenue.
Section 2. That said application will be considered
under a suspension of the requirement that an ordinance be read on
three different days at a meeting of the Council of the City of
Caldwell, to be held on the day of February, 1952, at the hour
of 8:00 o'clock P.T' >., at the Council Chambers in the City Hall in
the City of Caldwell, when and there or prior to which date any
citizen of the City of Caldwell or any owner of property in the
City of Caldwell may file with the Clerk of the City of Caldwell,
written objections to the granting of said application, or may file
any claim for damages which any such citizen or owner of property

may sustain by reason of the vacation of said portion of Poplar
Street, and all claims fof damages will be considered and ascertain
ed by the Council of the City of Caldwell at said meeting.
Section 3. Notice of the foregoing shall be given to all
citizens of and owners of property in the City of Caldwell, Idaho,
by the publication of this ordinance in The Caldwell News Tribune,
a newspaper published in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, in at least
one issue thereof and commencing with the issue published on
January /41952•
