the City of Caldwell, Idaho;
Section 1. That an application has been presented to the
Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell for the passage and
approval of an ordinance vacating Hillcrest Street and portions of
Michigan A Ohio Avenue and Ridgeview Street and the alleys in
Blocks 2, 3 and 4 as platted in Hoff Addition No. 1 to the City of
Caldwell, Canyon County, Idaho, as said streets now exist within
the following portion of Hoff Addition No. 1 to the City of
Caldwell, Idaho, said description being as follows, to -wit;
Commencing at the East quarter corner of Section 22,
Township 4 North, Range 3 West of the Boise Meridian;
running thence West on the half Section line of said Sec-
tion 22 and the centerline of Hillcrest Street 25
feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence West on
the said half Section line and the centerline of Hill-
crest .Street 632.50 feet to the Northwest corner of
the East half of the Northeast quarter of the Southeast
quarter of said Section 22; thence South 428.20 feet to
a point which is 231.8 feet North of the Northwest
corner of the Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter
of the Southeast quarter of said Section 22; thence
South 33 degrees and 40 minutes East 77 feet; thence
South 54 degrees and 30 minutes East 100 feet; thence
North 78 degrees and 11 minutes East 97 feet; thence
South 77 degrees and 7 minutes East 84 feet; thence South
29 degrees and 52 minutes East 131.0 feet; thence
South 22 degrees and 45 minutes East 239.22 feet to the
Westerly side of Fourteenth Avenue extended; thence
North 44 degrees and 10 minutes East 249.14 feet along
the West side of Fourteenth Avenue extended, to a point
which is 25 feet West at right angles from the East
line of said Section 22; thence North 330.36 feet parallel
with the said East line to the South line of Ridgeview
Street; thence Nest on the Southerly line of Ridgeview
Street 217.38 feet to the point of intersection with the
Northerly boundary of the spiral curve of the Proposed

State Highway; thence curving to the right along the
said Northerly Boundary line 128.5 feet to a point where
the said Northerly Boundary line intersects with the
West line of Michigan. Avenue, which is 61.2 feet South
of the Northeast corner of Lot 4 of Block 4, the Plat
of Hoff Addition No. 1 to Caldwell, Idaho; thence North
on the said West Line of Michigan Avenue 286.2 feet to
the Northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 4 of Hoff Addition
No. 1; thence East 328.75 feet to the Northeast corner
of Lot 1, Block 1 of said Hoff Addition No. 1; thence
North 25 feet to the true point of beginning.
and in which application the applicant is the owner of the property

8 abutting and adjacent to said above described streets.
9 Section 2. That said application will be considered under
a suspension of the requirement that an ordinance be read on three
11 different days at a meeting of the Council of the City of Caldwell
November
12 to be held on the 5 day of _ , 1951, at the hour of
13 8 :00 otclock P,tl,, at the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the
City of Caldwell, when and where or prior to which date, any cit-
izen of the City of Caldwell or any owner of property in the City
of Caldwell may file with the Clerk of the City of Caldwell written
objections to granting said application or may file any claim for
damages which any such citizen or owner of property may sustain
by reason of the vacation of said street, and all claims for dam-
ages will be considered and ascertained by the Council of the City
of Caldwell at said meeting.
Section 3. Notice of the foregoing shall be given to all
citizens of, and owners of property in the City of Caldwell, Idaho,
by the publication of this ordinance in The Caldwell News- Tribune,
a newspaper published in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, in at least
one issue thereof and commencing with the issue published on
1951.
