ERTY IN THE CITY OF CALD tdELL, THAT AN APPLICATION HAS BEEN PRESEN-
TED FOR THE NARROadIFG OF LOCUST STREET FROM 70 FEET IN WIDTH TO
50 FEET IN dIDTH BETWEEN COLLEGE AVENUE AND IOWA AVENUE, AS PLATTED
BETWEEN BLOCK 79 AND BLOCK 80, MOUNTAIN VIEW ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF CALD4ELL, IDAHO; PROVIDING FOR FILING OBJECTIONS THERETO AND
FOR FILING CLAIMS FOh DiA1AGES SUSTAINED THEREBY; PROVIDING FOR
ASCERTAINING SUCH DA IAGE'S FOR TILE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CALDI'JELL; AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION 01' THIS ORDINANCE.
Be it ordained and established by the Mayor and Council of the
City of Caldwell, Idaho:
Section 1. That an application has been presented to the
Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, for the passage
14 and approval of an ordinance narrowing Locust Street from 70 feet
, in width to 50 feet in width between College Avenue and Iowa Avenue
16 in the City of Caldwell, as platted between Block 79 and Block 80
17 of Mountain View Addition to the City of Caldwell, Idaho, by va-
cating 10 feet on the North and South sides of said Street res-
pectively, and in which application the applicants are the owners
of all of the property abutting and adjacent to said Locust Street
21 between College Avenue and Iowa'Avenue.
22 Section 2. That said application will be considered under a
23 suspension of the requirement that an ordinance be read on three
24 different days at a meeting of the Council of the City of Caldwell
25 to be held on the 6th day of November, 1950, at the hour of 8 :00
26 otclock P. iii., at the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City
27 of Caldwell; when and where, or prior to which date, any citizen
28 of the City of Caldwell or any owner of property in the City of
29 Caldwell may file with the Clerk of the City of Caldwell written
30 objections to granting said application or may file any claim for
31 damages which any such citizen or owner of property may sustain
32 by reason of the narrowing of said street, so filed, and all claims

1 damages will be considered and ascertained by the Council of the
2 City of Caldwell at said meeting.
3 Section 3. Notice of the foregoing shall be given to all
4 citizens of and owners of property in the City of Caldwell, Idaho,
5 by the publication of this ordinance in The Caldwell News- Tribune,
6 a newspaper published in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, in at least
7 one issue thereof and commencing with the issue published on
8 October 2:8, 1950.
9 PASSED by the Council of the City of Caldwell this 16th day
10 of October, 1950.
