4 AN ORDINANCE GIVING NOTICE TO ALL CITIZENS AND OI^1NERS OF PROPERTY
IN THE CITY OF CALDa&LL THAT AN APPLICATION HAS BELN IR ESENTED FOR
5 THE VACATION OF CERTAIN EASEINTS FOR A PUBLIC STREET GRANTED THE
CITY OF CALDJELL, IDAHO IN BLOCK 38 OF WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, STEUNENB1
6 AND HANDTS ADDITION TO CALD��IELL, IDAHO, AND LOTS 19 AND 20 OF NEW
HOME ADDITION TO CALD! ^'ELL, IDAHO; PROVIDING FOR FILING OBJECTIONS
7 THERETO AND FOR FILING CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES SUSTAINED THEREBY; PR OVIDII
FOR ASCERTAINING SUCH DAMAGES FOR THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY
6 OF CALDINELL; AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION OF THIS ORDINANCE.
9 Be it ordained and established by the Mayor and Council of
10 the City of Caldwell, Idaho:
11 Section 1. That an application has been presented to the
12 Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho for the passage and
13 approval of an ordinance vacating the following easements for a
14 public street:

(a)
Beginning at the Northerly corner of Block 38 of
Washington Heights, Stennenberg and Handts Addition
16
to Caldwell, Idaho, according to the official plat
of said addition on file and of record in the office
17
of the County Recorder of Canyon County, Idaho, and
run thence South along the West boundary line of
18
said Block 38 a distance of 250 feet; thence run
East a distance of 30 feet; thence run North on a
19
line parallel with the West boundary line of said
Block 38 to a point in the Northerly boundary line
20
of said Block 38; thence run Northwesterly along
said Northerly boundary line to the point of begin -
21
ning.

(b)
The East 30 feet of Lot 19 of New Home Addition
to Caldwell, Idaho, as appears according to the
23
official plat of said addition on file and of
record in the office of the County Recorder of
24
Canyon County, Idaho.

(c)
The East 30 feet of Lot 20 of New Home Addition
to Caldwell, Idaho, as appears according to the
28
official plat of said addition on file and of
record in the office of the County Recorder of
27
Canyon County, Idaho.
28 Section 2. That said application will be considered, and
29 a suspension of the requirement that an ordinance be read on three
30 different days, at a meeting of the Council of the City of Caldwell
31 to be held on the 6th day of September, 1950, at the hour of 8 :00
32 o'clock P.M., at the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City
1 of Caldwell, when and where, or prior to which date, any citizen of
2 the City of Caldwell or any owner of property in the City of Caldwel
3 may file with the Clerk of the City of Caldwell written objections
4 to granting said application or may file any claim for damages which
5 any such citizen or owner of property may sustain by reason of the
6 vacation of said easements, so filed, and all claims for damages will
71 be considered and ascertained by the Council of the City of Caldwell
8 at said meeting.
g Section 3. Notice of the foregoing shall be given to all
10 citizens of and owners of property in the City of Caldwell.; Idaho,
11 by the publication of this ordinance in The Caldwell News - Tribune,
12 a newspaper published in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, in at least
13 one issue thereof and commencing with the issue published on
14 August 26, 1950.
15 PASSED by the Council of the City of Caldwell, this 7th
16 day of August, 1950.
17 APPROVED by the Mayor of the City of Caldwell, this 7th
1811 day of August, 1950.
