OF THE CITY OF CALDdELL, CHANGING THE COM?ENSATION TO BE PAID

Be it ordained by the Mayor and Council of the City
of Caldwell, Idaho:
Section 1. That Section 1 -602 of the Caldwell Code
of 1942, as amended by ordinances No. 627 637, 670, 685,
689, and 723, be, and the same is hereby amended to read as
follows:
11 1 -602. Compensation of' appointed and duly consti-
tuted members of the Police Department of the City of Caldwell,
Idaho. - -That compensation of appointed and duly constituted
members of the Police Department of the City of Caldwell,
Idaho, .shall be as follows:
Chief of Police - - - - - - - -

Provided that the compensation of Sergeants of Police
shall be increased at the rate of 65.00 per month for each year
of continuous service in that classification until a maximum
of . .250.00 per month has been reached, which shall be the
maximum compensation for Sergeants of Police.
Provided further that the compensation of Patrolmen
after six months of continuous service in that classification
shall be at the rate of $225.00 per month; that the compensa-
tion of Patrolmen after one year of continuous service in
that classification shall be at the rate of '4230.00 per month,
which shall be the maximum compensation for that classification."
Section 2. The compensation change as provided in
this ordinance shall become effective as of and from the 1st day
of February, 1950

Section 3. All ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in force and
shall take effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication.
