That Section 1 of the Caldwell Code of 1942 as previously amended by Ordinance Ao. 627 and by Ordinance No. 646 of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, be and the same is hereby 10"MW 11 1-229. Police Judue, Appointment ' Sala. -- The Mayor of the CiE`y(5_:E ;l1 sh7_0L_17,_with the approval of the Council, at the time of his taking office, appoint some suitable person as Police Judge of the City of Caldwell who shall qualify as such Police Judge by filing the usual oath of officers required b7 the Statute of all - ,public officers, filing a bond in the sum of 41,000.00, for the faithful performance of his duties and who shall receive as compensation for his services as such rolice Judge the sum of 090.00 per month, payable out of the General expense fund of the City Treasury of the City of Caldwell in the sameimnner as all other claims against the City are paid, provided, that in the absence or incapacity of such Police Judge and there be a substitute appointed during such ab- sence or incapacity as,provided by the Statute of the State of Idaho, the salary of such Police Judge accruing during such absence or Incapacity shall be paid to the person who is designated under the Statute of the State of Idaho to act as such ?olice Judge of the City of Caldwell during the absence or incapacity of the duly appointed, qualified and acting Police Judge as hereinabove provided." Section 2. That the compensation change for Police Judge as provided in this Ordinance shall become effective re- troactively as of the lst day of January, 1947. Section S. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 4.
