Salary, Certain Officers. - The salary of the follow- ing city officers shall be as follows: City Treasurer t200 per month. That Section 1-602 of the Caldwell Code of 1942 as amended by Ordinance No. 627, Ordinance No 637 and by Ordinance N�o. 670, be and tbe same is hereby amended to read as follows: -1- El E "1-602. Provided further that there is hereby created the combined office of Patrolman and Pound 4aster, and that the salary of the officer occupying that position shall be y180.00 per month; and that such office shall not ue included in the schedule of itionthly salary increases as herein provided for patrolmen." Section 3. That ;Section 1-810 of the Caldwell Code of 1942 as amended by Ordinance IVo. 627, Ordinance 1vo. 629, Ordinance I No. 627, and by Ordinance i�o. 670, be and the same is hereby amended to read as folloas: "l-810. Salary of Officers and Employees. - The compensation of t'. officers, members and employees of the fire department shall be as folloi Chief of the Fire .Department - - - - - - 9260.00 per month Captain of the Fire Department - - - - - 4230.00 Per month Lieutenant of the .0"ire Department 0220,00 per month Hosemen of the Fire Department- - X200.00 per month Provided that the compensation of the hosemen shall be increased at the rate of 65.00 per month each year for continuous service after the first year for a period of three years; so that be- ginning with the second year of said continuous service such compensation shall be the sum of 4205.00 per month; and 'beginning with the third year of such continuous service such compensa- tion shall be the sum of �210.00 per month; and beginning with the fourth year of such service and thereafter such compensation shall be the sum of '`215.00 per month; provided that in calcu- lating the monthly increases of �P5.00 per month for hosemen for -2- 0 0 1 �1 continuous service uurin� 'u second, third and fourth years of their continuous employment, t,ae actual date of their en- tering u the employment of the City of Caldwell as hoseriien shall be the date from and after which such schedule shall be cal- culated. Section 4. That Section 11 of the Caldwell Code of 1942, as amended by Ordinance iio. 637 and by Ordinance No. 670, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: " Salary of °',exton; LIving Duarters. - The salary of the "_aexton of the cemetery of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, shall be the swm of ,�230.00 per month, payable monthly. The above salary snail be full compensation for all services per- formed by him as such Sexton. irovided that if the Vlayor and Council so order, the sexton may be given the privilege of living in the residence on the cemetery ground without rental therefor." Section 5. All salary or compensation changes as provided in this Ordinance shall become effective as of and from the lst day of December, 1946. Section 6. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in con- flict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 7. This Ordinance shall be in force and shall take effect from and after its passage, approval and publication. P4SSED By the Council this 2nd clay of December, 1946.
