WHEREAS, On the 6th day of September, 1946, H. G. Doremus and Edna B. Doremus husband and wife, Clarence Handel and Norma May Handel, husband and wife, and George . McFarland and Catherine C. McFarland, husband and wife, executed and de- livered to the City of jalduell, Idaho, a �,uitclaim Deed convey- ing to said City of Caldwell, Idaho, the following described real property, to-wit: The Northeasterly 40 feet of Block 27 and the Southwesterly 40 feet of block 30, all in Golden Gata Addition to Caldwell Idaho, according to the plat thereof of record in the office of the County Aecorder of Canyon County, State of Idaho, as and for a right of way for public street and highway. ; and WHEREAS, It was intended by said Deed that the property above described become and remain a part of the street system of the City of Caldwell, and be dedicated,to public use forever, as a street and thoroughfare. ITOWT THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALDI;_TELL IDAHO: That the conveyance by said H. G. J)oremus and Edna B. Doremus, husband and wife; Clarence Handel and Noma May Handel, husband and wife, and George q. McFarland and Cartherine C. McFarland, husband and wife, to the City bf Caldwell, Idaho, of the above described property for the purpose of maintaining said -1- • 17J property as a public street and thoroughfare in the City of Gald�iell., Idaho, be and the same is hereby accepted and con- firmed.
