6ection 1, i'or the purpose of this Ordinance,
(e) '.'2he viord "person" shall mean and include any individual,
firm, corporation or co-partnership;
(d) The word "operator" shall mean and shall include every
person Tho shall operate a vehicle upon any street in the City of
Caldwell, Idaho;
(e) ' A '- . , he word "park" or "parking" shall mean leaving a vehicle
standing;, whether occupied or empty, except for the temporary purpose
of, and while actually en6aged in, unloading or loading passengers,
upon a street in the City of Cald-aell, Idaho;
(f) The words "loading space shall mean a space or seetion
of a street which has been set aside for the exclusive purpose of
loading and unloading persons, supplies and merchandise.

so adjusted as to show the lenGth of time of parking upon the streets
of the City of Caldwell, IcAaho;

streets estaolished or designated by the Chief of Police, with the

of streets, within or upon which parking

herein referred to as parking meters or meters.
Section 2. �'or the purpose of €:he regulation of traffic upon
-tLae public streets of the City of Cvldvfell, Idaho, there is hereby
created and, established, within the corporate limits of the City of
Caldi Idaho, an area designated as the parking meter zone. 'he

Section 3. A loading space may be occupied by a vehicle while
actually enga ed in loadin�� and unloading; persons, supplies or riser -

Folloydinr, resolution of the Council of the City of Caldwell, the Chief

of Police may designate a parkinS meter zone in which shall be in-
stalled parr meters so equipped that in addition to the foregoing,

upon deposit therein of two nickles, it shall indicate that a vehicle
may occupy the space adjacent thereto for a period of two hours
of deposit of said two nIckles.
Upon -- U - he e-vpiration of such respective periods of time, a
colored si&n or signal shall become visible in each parking meter,
which, vhen visible, shall indicate that the parking time for such
space has expired.
It shall be unlawful for any persor to cause, penrit, allow
or suffer any vehicle to be par!kad during operating hours in a space
adjacent to a par!71 meter while the colored signal or sips of the

:section 5. Operattrirl hOLIrS of maters, yiirIiin L'Sle meaning of
this ordinance, shall be between the hours of 9:00 o'clock A.h'i, and
6:00 o'clock P.11E., on every day of each week,, provided that such
meters shall not be in operation on 3undays, Iliew Years Day, Wemorial
Day, Fourth of July, Armistice Day, Thanks Si vin' g" and Christmas.

Section 6, The Chief of 2olice is hereby instructed to have
lines or markinSs painted or placed upon the curb, and/or upon the
street, adjacent to each parkln� meter, for the - parpose of des'!:

sions of this ordinance for any person to deposit or insert, or cause
to be deposited or inserted, in any parking meter, anything ilihatsoever

Section 9. It shall be unla% for any person to deface,
injure, temper with, open or willfully break, destroy, or impair the
usefullness of, any parking meter installed under the provisions of
- this ordinance, and it sziall be unlawful for any person, except the
duly authorized agents or officials of the Gity of �aldviell, Idaho,
to remove any coin or coins from any parkinS meter.
