AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 -711 OF THE CALDWELL CODE OF 1942
(AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE 110. 625 OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO)
AND SECTION 1 -712 OF THE CALDWELL CODE OF 1942; PROVIDING FOR
l THE SCHEDULE OF RATES TO BE CHARGED BY THE CITY OF CALDWELL,
IDAHO, FOR METERED DOMESTIC WATER; AND PROVIDING THE MIINIMUM
MONTHLY CHARGE THEREFOR.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, IDAHO:
Section 1: That Section 1 -711 of the Caldwell Code
of 1942, as amended by Ordinance No. 625 of the City of Caldwell,
Idaho, be amended to read as follows:
1 -711. Water Rates -- Charges for metered water
furnished by the water department of the City of Caldwell
each month to individual users shall be based upon the
following schedule of rates:
00 per the first 400 cubic feet or fraction thereof;

250 per 100 cubic feet or fraction thereof, for the next
additional 600 cubic feet;
15� per 100 cubic feet or fraction thereof, for the
next additional 9,000 cubic feet;
7Q¢ per 100 cubic feet or fraction thereof, for the
next additional 15,000 cubic feet; and
5g per 100 cubic feet or fraction thereof, for all
excess over 25 cubic feet.
Section 2: That Section 1 -712 of the Caldwell Code
of 1942, shall be amended to read as follows:
1 -712. Minimum Monthl Charge -- The minimum charge
per month for metered water furnished by the water department

of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, shall be $2.00, payable
monthly in advance on or before the 10th day of each
month; provided, however, that in the event the charge
for metered water for that month, under the schedule
provided in Section 1 -711 of the Caldwell Code of 1942,
as amended, shall exceed the minimum charge,-such excess
shall be added to the amount to be paid by the user in
the following month.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. The schedule of water charges and the mini-
mum monthly water rate as provided in this ordinance shall be in
effect as of and from the lst day of July, 1945.
