Section 1. That that portion of that certain
tract of land hereinafter described, which said. tract of land
was purchased by Standard Oil Company ofCalifornia, a. corporation,
which corporation caused said- land to be conveyed directly to the
City of Caldwell, Idaho, for street purposes, without cost or

expense to said city, by George L. Crookham and Grace S. Crook-
am, his wife, the then owners thereof, by deed dated January 8,
1431, recorded January 14, 1931 in Book 119 of Deeds, page 420,
records of Canyon County, 1daho, and heretofore used by said
City for street purposes, is no longer needed by said city for
said purposes, and the same is hereby vacatod, abandoned and
discontinued, to-wit:
A tract of land situate within the Northwest Quarter
(hWj of the Southeast ouarter of Section 21,
Township 4 North, Range 3, Aest of the 3olce Meridian,
in Canyon County, Idaho, the exterior boundaries of
W hich are particularly Aoscribod as follows, to-wit:
2EGIXTIDY" at a point nhich is 87.6 feet perpendicularly
distant Southerly from the center line of the Main Track
of the Tilder Branch of the OrcZon Short Line Railroad
Company, at hnZineer's Station 23 plus 66.0, which is
1732.6 feet nesterly measured aloe; said center line from
its intersection with the East line of Section 21, in
Township 4 north, Range 3, Vast of the 01-P 0
(otherwise said beginning point beinS also the Northwest
corner of the malty owned by C;i.,Idwell -j.'roduce Co:,y.)vny)
thence parallel to said center line and along the South
boundary line of said Railroad RiZbt-of-4ay, 200 feet

Section 3. That upon the approval and passage
of this o"dinance the Hayor Pnd City Clark of the City of Cald-
well, 1daho, be, and they hereby are, Airooted, on behalf of
said City, and as provided by Section 45-1144, Idaho Code Anno-
tated, 1932, to convoy said vacated portion of said street to
the said Standard Oil Company of California, a corporation.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect
frorr and after its passage, approval and publication.
