IN ORDINANCE TO ± FF%ND SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 443
SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE SALARY OF THE CITY ENGINEER
SHALL BE FAXED BY ORDINANCE AS PROVIDED BY STATUTE.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Council of the city of
Caldu,rell, Idaho:
Section 1. That Section I of Ordinance No. 443 be and the
same is hereby amended to read as follo
Section 1. That the _ shall ]have the pourer to and shall
appoint, durinS the term for which he is elected, subject to confirmation
by the City Council, a competent person to hold the position of City
E'n;ineer, who shall hold his office durin the term for vrhich h8, is
appointed and. until his successor is appointed and qualified. The
salary of the City EnSineer shall be set by the Mayor and Council of
the City of Caldviell as provided by Section 49 - -3.18 of the Idaho Code
Annotated.
Section 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict avith this ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance laill be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval and publication in book form
as provided in Ordinance No. 591.
