AN ORDINANCE CRLriTING THE OFFICE OF DEPUTY CITY CLERK
PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINTLIENT OF' SUCH DEPUTY AND PRO-
VIDING THAT THE MAYOR !IID COUNCIL I;-riY Rte! UIRE BOND
FROM SUCH DEPUTY.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Council of the city of
Caldwell, Idaho:
Section 1. There is hereby created the office of deputy
city clerk. The lYaN7or with the approval of the council of the city
of Caldarell and upon the recommendaLion of the city clerk shall appoint
a deputy* city clerk who shall perform such duties as may be preseribed
from time to time by the 1ayor and City Council and shall assist and
j ork under the imrledi.te supervision of the city clerk. The term of
office of such deputy shall run faith the terra of office of the city
clerk under Erhom appointment is made provided howover, that the Mayor
and Council may remove such officer at any time.
Section 2. The 1'iayor and Council may require the deputy city
clerk to furnish bond in such amount as :nay be set by said Mayor and
Council.
Section 3. This ordinance will be in full force and effect from
and after tts passage and approval and publication in book form'as pro-
vided in Ordinance No. 591.
