AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE GRANTING OF CONCESSIONS
ITHIN
THE CITY OF CALDI "TELL DURING RODEOS, FAILS,
CELEBRATIONS; CARNIVALS, OR OTHER PUBLIC FESTIVALS
PRESCRIBING A PENALTY AMID REJ.fL_Y_ING ALL ORDINANCES
OR FARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT : ;iITH THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED AND ESTABLISHED BY THE MAYOR AND
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALD'IELL, CANYON COUNTY, IDAHO;
Section 1.
That no person shall operate, maintain, or construct
any concession, booth, tent, temporary structure, or awning
within the city limits within the City of Caldwell, where
merchandise, lunches, or soft drinks are sold or disposed of
during or in connection with any rodeo, fair, celebration,
carnival, or other public festivals without first procuring
permission from the City Council of the City. of Caldwell,
or from the committee of citizens in charge, duly appointed
by the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell for such
an occasion.
Section 2.
That no permit or license for any concession, booth,
tent, temporary structure, or awning where merchandise, soft
drinks, or lunches are sold or disposed of, shall be granted
to a person operating independantly of the committee or person
in charge of such a rodeo, fair , celebration, carnival, or
other public festivals without procuring a special permit from
the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell and in addition
thereto paving a license fee for each booth, stand, �nporary

structure, tent, or awning, in the sum of Ten 0310) Dollars
per day, and the Mayor and council may grant or with hold
such licen��r permit_ with" discretion Af
Section 3.
Any person violating this ordinance shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanorand. punished by a fine of not to
exceed One Hundred 0100) Dollars.
Section 4,
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith in so far as they are affected by this ordinance
letand'o the same are hereby repealed.
