AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ASSESSIMIT AM LEVY
OF TAX FOR GENERAL REVENUE PURPOSES FOR PAYING THE CURRENT
EXPENSES OF THE CITY OF CALDIRELL IDAHO, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING THE FIRST TUESDAY IN MAY, 1931.
BE IT ORDAINED By the Mayor and Council of the City
of Caldwell, Idaho:
Section 1, That there is hereby levied upon all the
taxable property within the city limits of the City of Caldwell,
Idaho, for general revenue purposes for the fiscal year beginning
the first Tuesday in May, 1931, in addition to other taxes
heretofore levied, the following tax and assessment, to-wit:
For the General Fund 15 mills on every dollar of
assessed valuation.
For the Library Fund,,J44.j-* mills on every dollar
of assessed valuation.
For Emergency Restoration of Improvements, 1931,
q tr wo mills on every dollar of assessed valuation.
For Cemetery Maintenance Fund,&xe mill on every
dollar of assessed valuation.
For the Bonds and Interest Funds mills on
every dollar of assessed valuation..".
For the Street Lighting Fund; %e4 mills on every
dollar of assessed valuation.
Section 2. That there is hereby levied and assessed
upon certain property heretofore excluded from the corporate
limits of the City of Caldwell, and within the County of Canyon,
State of Idaho, for the bond and interest funds for the payment
of bonds issued prior to January 1, 1922, mills upon each
and every dollar of assessed valuation of said property, described
as follows, to-wit:
The East half (EI-) of the Southeast quarter (SE the
Northwest quarter (NU-4 of(the Southeast quarter (SE), and
all that portion of)the South half (S2) of the Northeast
quarter (NE-i-) lying South of the Bolse Valley Traction Com-
pany's railroad track, of Section Thirty-m-five (35); The
West half (W- of the Southwest uarter (Sw ) of Sedtion
Thirty-fiTe Z35) - the East half CE-) Section Thirty-
three (53 ; the torthwest quarter t1645 of the Northwest
quarter the South half (S�) of the Northwest
arter and the South half (S- of Section
thirty -four (34); the Southwest quarter (SW�), and
the Southwest quarter (SWJ-) of the Southeast quafter
(SE- of Section Thirty-five (35), all in Township

Four (4) North, of Range Three(3) West of the Boise
meridian.
Also the West half (4) of Section T
the Northwest quarter (NWT-) of Section Twenty-eight
(28), all in Township Four (4) North of Range Three (3)
West of the Boise meridian.
Section 3. That there is hereby levied and assessed
upon certain property heretofore excluded from the corporate
limits of the City of Caldwell, and within the County of Canyon,
State of Idaho, for the bond and interest funds for the payment
of bonds issued prior to January 1, 1930, 4ve_t / mills upon each
and every dollar of assessed valuation of said property described
as follows, to-wit:
The Southeast quarter (SE-.1) of the Southwest quarter
(SW ) of Section Twenty-eight (28)• and the South half
(Mi of the Southwest quarter (SWW of the Southeast
quarter (SE -) of section Twenty-eight,(28), all in Town-
ship Four (4) North of Range Three (3) West of the Boise
meridian.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage, approval and publication.
