0IMINANCE NO. - Vi
An ordinance fixing the salary of the Idayor and Councilmen
of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, providing the time and manner in
which they shall be paid, requiring the City Clerk to collect
all vii.ter cents and give receipts therefor, to collect other
moneys due the water department and to apportion and pay over to
the City Treasurer money so received, requiring the City Clerk
to 'Peep the books and accounts of the water department, fixing
the salary of the City Clerk and Police Judge and providing the
time and manner in which it shall be paid, repealing Section 8 Of
Ordinance No. 165, Ordinance No. 242 and all other ordinances
and parts of Ordinances in conflict with this ordinance, and
providing a time in which this ordinance shall be in force and
effect.

Caldwell, Idaho.

Section 2. The salaries of the M cL Mayor un Councilmen shall
be payable monthly in the same manner as other claims against the
City are paid.
Section 3. In addition to the powers and duties provided
by Ordinance No. 165 and other ordinances of the City of Caldwell,
the City Clerk of said City shall have the power and it shall be his
duty to collect all water rents and give receipts therefor, and if
the water rental is not paid within ten days from the date when due
to notify the Superintendent of 4 . ater - dorks of such fact. It shall
also be the duty of the 'City Clerk to receive all other moneys due
the water department for any purpose whatsoever. lioney so
received shall be apportioned by 'the City Clerk as are other
moneys - received for said City paid by him to the City Treasurer.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall also keep in manner
provided by law and the Ordinances of the oity of 'Caldwell, the books
and accounts of the said water departriient. Said books and accounts
shall at all times be under the direction and control of the said City
Clerk.
Section 5. The salary of the City Clerk and -Police Judge
shall be the sum of payable monthly in the same manner
as other claims against the "lly are paid.
Section 6. Section 8 of Ordinance No. 165, Ordinance No.
242 and all other Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 7. This Ordinance shall be in force and effect
from and after the 7th day of May, 1917,
