ORDINANCE NO. 2338
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, STATE OF IDAHO, REGARDING ANIMAL CONTROL
REGULATIONS, BY ADDING CERTAIN LANGUAGE TO CHAPTER 8, ARTICLE
3, SECTION 25 PERTAINING TO PROHIBITED ACTS: (2) DISTURBING THE
PEACE: REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDERS OR PARTS
THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO:
Section 1. That Chapter 8, Article 3, Section 25 of the Municipal Code of the
City of Caldwell, Canyon County, Idaho be amended by adding (2), Disturbing the Peace
as follows:
(2) Disturbing the Peace: It is unlawful for any owner of a canine to fail to
exercise the reasonably necessary proper care and control of his/her animal in
order to prevent it from disturbing the peace and quiet of the neighborhood by
barking, whining or malting loud or unusual noises, or by running through or
across cultivated gardens or lawns not the property of the owner.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby
repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval, and publication according to law.
