ORDINANCE NO. 2303
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 12 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO, BY ADDING CERTAIN LANGUAGE TO
ARTICLE 1, BUILDING REGULATIONS. REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDERS
AND PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Caldwell:
SECTION 1. That Article 1 be amended by creating a new section and by adding certain language as follows:
12- 01 -04: ADOPTION OF MODEL ENERGY CODE. There is hereby adopted for the purpose of establishing
rules and regulations for the conservation of energy, a certain code known as the Model Energy__ Code
copyrighted by the Council of American Building Officials, 1995 Edition together with amendments and
revisions thereof, copies of which are on file in the Office of Community Development Department, Buildi
Services,
Section 2. All ordinances, resolutions, orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, rescinded
and annulled.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and in effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication, according to law.
