ORDINANCE NO. 2261
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, PROVIDING FOR THE
CHANGE OF A STREET NAME WITHIN THE CORPORATE AREA OF THE CITY
OF CALDWELL.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Caldwell,
Idaho:
Section 1. The proposed plat for Ashton Hills Subdivision has been reviewed and
during that review, it was determined that the existing name Elton Street was already in
use in the Rural Fire District. The County portion of Elton Road runs between Hop Road
and Wagner Road and has four homes on it. The section of EIton Street which exists in
the City has only one house on it and is proposed to be a feeder street for the proposed
Ashton Hills Subdivision. The section of Elton Street which exists in the City will be
changed to Hickman Street.
Section 2. That the City Clerk of the City of Caldwell is hereby directed to
submit this Ordinance to the County Recorder of Canyon County, Idaho, for recordation
and that copies of the recorded document be forwarded to the appropriate City
Departments.
Section 3. All ordinances, resolutions, orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed, rescinded and annulled.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Caldwell this 4 day of
January, 1999.
