ORDINANCE NO. 2203
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3, ARTICLE 1, OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL PERTAINING TO GENERAL PROVISIONS
BY DELETING AND ADDING CERTAIN LANGUAGE IN SECTION 05
PERTAINING TO SALARIES: REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS,
ORDERS AND PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, IDAHO:
Section 1. That Section 05, of Chapter 3, Article 1 of the Municipal Code of the
City of Caldwell, County of Canyon, State of Idaho pertaining to Salaries be amended as
follows:
03- 01 -05: SALARIES:
(1) Elective Officers:
A. Mayor: Commencing January 1, 1996, 1998 the salary of the Mayor shall be
the annual sum of
( $33,31&90) forty -five thousand dollars ($45,000 to be paid in twenty -six
(26) equal payments, one each two (2) weeks, the same as other salaries are
paid by the City.
B. Council: Each member of the Council elected to office and in office on
January 1, 1996, 199$, or thereafter, shall be paid an annual sum of few
four thousand seven
hundred ninety -eight and 20100 dollars ($4.798.20), to be paid in twenty -six
(26) equal payments, one each two (2) weeks, the same as other salaries are
paid by the City.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby
repealed.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval and publication according to law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Caldwell this 18' day of
August, 1997.
