ORDINANCE NO. 2191
AN ORDINANCE GIVING NOTICE TO ALL CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, CANYON COUNTY, IDAHO, THAT THE MAYOR AND THE
CITY COUNCIL INTEND TO SELL THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED REAL
PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF CALDWELL, CANYON COUNTY,
IDAHO; AND WHICH SAID PROPERTY IS SITUATED IN CANYON
COUNTY, IDAHO; THAT SAID SALE IS MADE UNDER THE PROVISIONS
OF TITLE 50, CHAPTER 14, IDAHO CODE; THAT SAID SALE OF SAID
PROPERTY SHALL BE AT PUBLIC AUCTION AND SHALL BE SOLD TO
THE HIGHEST BIDDER AND THAT NO BID SHALL BE ACCEPTED FOR
LESS THAN THE APPRAISED VALUE; SAID PROPERTY BEING
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
A parcel of land situated in the NW '/q of the NW ' / a of Section 27, T 4N
R 3W, BM, Canyon County, Idaho, otherwise described as a portion of
Block 106 of Goandu Addition to the City of Caldwell. Said parcel is a
portion of that certain tract described in Instrument No. 78- 377869,
Recorded July 9, 1951 in the office of the Recorder of Canyon County,
Idaho, and is more particularly described as follows:
Parcel I
Commencing at the Easterly Comer of Block 106 of Goandu Addition to
the City of Caldwell, thence South Westerly along the North Westerly
boundary line of 10' Avenue a distance of 212 feet to the Real Point of
Beginning;
Thence North Westerly on a line parallel with the North Easterly
boundary line of said Block 106 a distance of 125 feet; thence South
Westerly on a line parallel with the North Westerly boundary line of 10'
Avenue a distance of 88 feet; thence South Easterly on a line parallel with
the South Westerly boundary line of said Block 106 a distance of 125 feet
to a point on the North Westerly boundary line of 10' Avenue, thence
North Easterly along the North Westerly boundary line of 10 Avenue a
distance of 88 feet to the Real Point of Beginning.
Parcel II
Beginning at the centerline of Tenth Avenue and Grant Street, thence
Southwesterly along the centerline of Tenth Avenue 340 feet; thence
Northwesterly and parallel to the centerline of Grant Street 40 feet to the
Westerly right of way for Tenth Avenue, the Point of Beginning; thence

continuing Northeasterly and parallel to the centerline of Grant Street 125
feet; thence Southerly 164.54 feet to the Westerly right of way for Tenth
Avenue; thence Northeasterly along the Westerly right of way of Tenth
Avenue 107 feet to the Point of Beginning.
BE IT ORDAINED AND ESTABLISHED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CALDWELL, CANYON COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, hereby
intend to sell at public auction the previously described real property situated within
Canyon County, Idaho.
Section 2. That the Ordinance for the sale of said above described real property
will be considered under a suspension of the requirements that an Ordinance be read on
three different days at a meeting of the Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, and that a
Public Hearing and auction will be held on the 7'' day of July, 1997, at the hour of seven -
thirty (7:30) p.m. at the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Caldwell, Idaho,
when and where, or prior to said date, any citizen may express dissatisfaction with the
question of whether or not the real property shall be sold.
Section 3. The said above described property shall be sold at a public auction to
the highest bidder and no bid shall be accepted for less than the appraised price and the
City Council may reject any and all bids.
Section 4. Notice of the foregoing will be given to all citizens of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho, in two issues thereof published in the local newspaper on May 12 and
May 19, 1997.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its
passage, approval and publication.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Caldwell this 5th' day of May,
1997.
