ORDINANCE NO. 2162
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, STATE OF IDAHO, BY ADDING CERTAIN LANGUAGE IN
CHAPTER 3, ARTICLE 3, SECTION 1 PERTAINING TO APPOINTED
OFFICERS: REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDERS
OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CALDWELL, IDAHO:
Section 1. That Section 1 of Chapter 3, Article 3
be amended by adding certain language as follows:
03- 03 -01: APPOINTMENTS: The Mayor shall appoint,
subject to the approval of the majority of the full City
Council: a City Clerk, Deputy City Clerk, City Attorney,
City Engineer and Public Works Director, Mayor's
Assistant, Police Chief, Fire Chief, City Treasurer and
Finance Director and Community Development Director The
Mayor shall appoint, subject to approval of the full City
Council, such other officers as may be deemed necessary
for the efficient operation of the business of the
Municipality.
Section 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication according to law.
