ORDINANCE NO. 2151
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL,
STATE OF IDAHO, BY DELETING AND ADDING CERTAIN LANGUAGE IN CHAPTER
12, ARTICLE 1, SECTION 1 PERTAINING TO ADOPTION OF BUILDING CODE:
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDER OR PARTS THEREOF IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO:
Section 1. That Section 1 of Chapter 12, Article 1 be amended
as follows:
12- 01 -01: ADOPTION OF BUILDING CODE: There is hereby
adopted for the purpose of establishing rules
and regulations for the construction,
alternation, removal, demolition, use and
occupancy, location and maintenance of
buildings and structures that certain Building
Code known as the Uniform Building Code,
copyrighted by the International Conference of
Building Officials, igg 1 1994 Edition,
together with the inclusion of Appendix
Chapters 34 1514 and 94 33 as amended and
Appendix 12 3, Division 4 and the 1988 1994
Edition of the U.B.C. Standards copies of
which are on file in the Office of the
Building official.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval, and publication according to
law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Caldwell this
