ORDINANCE NO. 2112
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, A MUNICIPAL
CORPORATION OF IDAHO, AMENDING CHAPTER 7, ARTICLE I,
PERTAINING TO COLLECTION REGULATIONS BY ADDING CERTAIN
LANGUAGE IN SECTION 9 (3 -A) REGARDING RESIDENTIAL
COLLECTION: REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS,
ORDERS AND PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, IDAHO:
Section 1. That Article I, Section 9 (3 -A) of Chapter 7 of
the Municipal Code of the City of Caldwell, County of Canyon, State
of Idaho pertaining to Residential Collection be amended as
follows:
07- 01 -09:
(3) A: Residential Collection:
2. Location of Containers, Bags and Bundles for
Collection: Each container, bag and bundle shall be
placed at curbside for collection. Curbside refers to
that portion or right of way adjacent to paved or
traveled City roadways (including alleys). Containers,
bags and bundles shall be placed as close to the roadway
as practicable without interfering with or endangering
the movement of vehicles or pedestrians. When
construction work is being performed in the right of way,
containers, bags, and bundles shall be placed as close as
practicable to an access point for the collection
vehicle. Contractor may decline to collect any
container, bag and bundle not so placed.
Refuse containers, except approved volume containers as
defined in (3) B of Section 9 hereof, shall not be placed
nor stored outside within 25 feet of any public street in
any residential area of the City except on regularly_
scheduled collection days within that area. The sitincr of
approved volume containers adjacent to the public streets
shall be subject to the approval of the City Engineer_
Section 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances inconsistent
herewith are hereby repealed.

Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to
law.
