ORDINANCE NO. 2084
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, STATE OF IDAHO, BY DELETING AND ADDING CERTAIN
LANGUAGE IN CHAPTER 8, ARTICLE 13, SECTION 1 PERTAINING
TO ADOPTION OF UNIFORM FIRE CODE; SECTION 13 PERTAINING
TO AMENDMENTS MADE IN THE UNIFORM FIRE CODE: REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDER OR PARTS THEREOF IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO:
Section 1. That Section 1 of Article 13, Chapter 8 be amended
as follows:
08- 13 -01: ADOPTION OF 1991 1994 UNIFORM FIRE CODE:
There is hereby adopted by the Mayor and Council of the
City of Caldwell, County of Canyon, State of Idaho for
the purpose of prescribing regulations governing
conditions hazardous to life and property from fire of
explosion, that certain Code and standards known as the
Uniform Fire Code, including appendix chapters 1 -A, 1 -C,
11 -A, 11 -B, 11 -D, 11 -E, 11 -F, 11 -G, 11 -H, 11 -I, 111 -A,
111 -B, 111 -C, 111 -D, 1V -A, 1V -B, V -A, V1 -A, VI -B, V1 -D,
V1 -E, and the Uniform Fire Code Standards published by
the Western Fire Chief Association and the International
Conference of Building Officials, being particularly in
the 1991 1994 Editions thereof and the whole thereof,
save and except such portions as are hereinafter deleted,
modified or amended by Section 08 -13 -13 of this Article
are now on file in the Office of the Caldwell Fire
Department and the same are hereby adopted and
incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein.
From the date on which this Article shall take effect,
the provision thereof shall be controlling within the
limits of the City of Caldwell, County of Canyon, State
of Idaho.
Section 2. That 13, Article 13 of Chapter 8 be amended as
follows:

08- 13 -1.3: AMENDMENTS MADE IN THE UNIFORM FIRE CODE:
(1) Section 104.3.2 Uniform Fire Code be and the same is amended
to read as follows

(2) Section 1003.1.1. Uniform Fire Code be and the same is amended

Section 1003.1.1. Fire extinguishing systems shall be

(3) Section 1003.1.2. Uniform Fire Code be and the same is amended
to read as follows:

(4) Article 78. That Article 78 "Fireworks and Pyrotechnic
Special Effects Material" 1994 Uniform Fire Code Volume 1, b
deleted with the exception of 7802.4 through 7803.9

(5) Section 7902.1.7.2.3. Uniform Fire Code be and the same is

the performance standards for new or upgraded underground

Delete in its entirety Section 1.2 effective date.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval, and publication according to
law.
