HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 2069A - 0 0 BILL NO. 5 ORDINANCE NO. 2069 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF IDAHO, AMENDING CHAPTER 8, ARTICLE 03, SECTION 21 OF THE CITY CODE OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, PERTAINING TO ANIMAL CONTROL REGULATIONS BY ADDING AND DELETING CERTAIN LANGUAGE REGARDING CANINE /FELINE ADOPTION: REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDERS AND PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO: Section 1. That Chapter 8, Article 03, Section 21 of the Municipal Code of the City of Caldwell, County of Canyon, State of Idaho, shall be amended by adding and deleting certain language as follows: l 08 03 - 21: CANINE ADOPTION: �\ (1) Canines licensed or unlicensed which have been held for five (5) working days excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays may be adopted from the Canyon County Animal Shelter after due notification to the owner (if known), upon payment of an adoption fee n-f tweip-tz— dellar� of ten dollars ($10.00 (2) In order to adopt m a canine a person must also pay the following additien adoption fees: A. The above neutering and spaying fees shall be waived if dogs are already spayed or neutered. (3) Required Rabies Vaccination Process. Any person acquiring a canine er felin from the Animal Control Shelter shall be required to purchase -a twenty FE a A G ixG vc acizc= w ��� e xpir e at the en_ 9i --h "' i rty (.3C�dcy� furnish to the Animal Control Shelter proof of rabies vaccination Animals under six (6) months of acre will be given a temporary identification tacr by the Animal Control Shelter until receipt of proof of rabies vaccination Temporary identification tact expires when canine is older than six (6) months of acre. Section 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed. Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
