ORDINANCE NO. 1994
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, IN ACCORDANCE WITH
RECENT CHANGES IN CHAPTER 26, TITLE 33 IDAHO CODE ALLOWING THE
CALDWELL LIBRARY BOARD TO RETAIN CUSTODY OF THE LIBRARY'S FUNDS AND
ALLOWING LIBRARY EMPLOYEES TO REMAIN LIBRARY EMPLOYEES AND NOT FALL
WITHIN THE CITY OF CALDWELL PERSONNEL SYSTEM.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CALDWELL, IDAHO;
Section l: It is hereby declared that the Library Board shall
retain custody of funds that come through the City to the Library
and all other funds that come directly to the library.
Section 2: It is hereby declared that Library employees shall
remain within the Library's control and that they will not be
considered part of the City Personnel system.
Section 3: Upon any change of circumstance the City Council retains
the right to review the situation and make any new conclusions
based upon those changes.
Passed by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Caldwell this
