An ordinance known as appropriation bill,appropriating such sums
of money as deemed necessary to defray all necessary expenses and liabil-
ities of the City of Caldwell for the fiscal year beginning on the first
Tuesday of May I9II,not otherwise provided for,ard providing for the levy
of a special tax assessment for the purpose of funding,refunding,purchase
redemption or exchange of outstanding City warrants indebtedness of the
City of Caldwell.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL:
SECTIBN I. There is hereby appropriated the following sums of ruoney
for the purpose of defraying the following expenses and liabilities of
the City of Caldwell for the fiscal year beginning on the 26rst Tuesday
of May I9II,to grit! City Hall including light, fuerl,janitors salary and
Incidentals 9800.00; Cemetery including salaries and incidentals f
Road Department including salaries,keeping of team and incidentals 12560.
Water Works Department,including salaries,power and light,extensions
and incidentals 8000.00; City Clerk including salaries and incidentals
1700.00; City Attorney,ircluding salary and incidentals t625.00; Police
department,inoluding salaries and incidentals ,2250.00 ; Fire Department
including salaries,equipment and incidentals I000.oc; Treasurer,irclu®
ding salary and incidentals 325.00; Library, in-eluding salary,books and
Incidentals ;/ • Street lighting : I500.00;Printing and Publishing,
500.00; Parks,inoluding salaries and incidentals 1750.00; Interest on
Bonds •`7360.00; Sinking Funds,Water Works,Water Forks Extension,Paving
and Funding 5800.00;Paving District No.I including assessment and inter-
est $211OO.00; Sewer District No.3.including assessment and interest,
9464.00; Local Lateral No.3 9 including assessment and interest I800.0c;
Local Lateral No.4,inclucling assessment and interest $I800.0r"
SIECTION 2. There is hereby levied upon all the taxable property of the
City of Caldwell for the fiscal year beginning on the first Tuesday of
of''May 1911 and ending the first Tuesday of May I9I2,in addition to other
'taxes provided by law,a special tax assessment of �; mills on the dollar
for the funding, refunding, purchase, redemption or exchange of the outstan-
ding City warrant indebtedness of the City of Caldwell.
SECTION 3. All moneys arising from such special tax or assessment
sh&ll be placed In a special fund for the redemption of such warrants wh-
ich shall be paid exclusively out of said fund which shall be known as
the Warrant Redemption Fund and all moneys in the City treasury at the
end of the fiscal year beginning on the first Tuesday of Eay IOII,not
nsedad for current expenses,and applicable thereto,shall be transferred to
said Warrant Redemption Fund,
