ORDINANCE NO. 1948
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, STATE OF IDAHO, BY DELETING CERTAIN LANGUAGE IN
TITLE I, CHAPTER 7, SECTION 1 PERTAINING TO APPOINTED
OFFICERS: REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDER OR
PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO:
Section 1. That Section 1 of Chapter 7, Title I, be amended
as follows:
1 -7 -1: APPOINTMENTS: The Mayor shall appoint, subject to the
approval of the majority of the full City Council: a
City Clerk, Deputy City Clerk, City Attorney, City
Engineer and Public Works Director, Planning and Zoning
Director, Police Chief, Fire Chief, City Treasurer and
Finance Director, ________g ________ Stadium Manager,
Administrative /Personnel Officer and Parks and Recreation
Director. The Mayor may appoint, subject to approval by
a majority of the full City Council, such other officers
as may be deemed necessary for the efficient operation of
the business of the Municipality.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval, and publication according
to law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Caldwell this
20th day of April, 1992.
APPROVED BY THE MAYOR of the City of Caldwell this 20th day
