ORDINANCE NO. 1938
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, STATE OF IDAHO, BY REPEALING SECTION 7 OF CHAPTER
11, TITLE IV OF THE CITY CODE PERTAINING TO SCHEDULE OF FARES
AND DELETING CERTAIN LANGUAGE IN SECTION 8, CHAPTER 11, TITLE
IV OF THE CITY CODE PERTAINING TO SCHEDULE TO BE POSTED:
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDER OR PARTS THEREOF
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO:
Section 1. That Section 7 of Chapter 11, Title IV be
repealed.
Section 2. That Section 8 of Chapter 11 of Title IV be
amended as follows:
4 -11 -8: SCHEDULE TO BE POSTED: A The schedule of
fares as set out in Section 4 -11 -7, together with the
name of the owner and driver of said taxicab shall be
printed in bold faced type and plainly posted in said
taxicab in such a manner that the same may be readily
readable and legible to the passenger therein, and shall
be approved, printed and posted in such a manner and
place in said taxicab as shall be approved by the Chief
of Police; and it shall be unlawful for any taxicab to
operate without such identification therein, said card
shall be in substantially the following form:

Nameof Owner ............................
Name of Driver ...........................
Scheduleof Fares ........................
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication
according to law.
