ORDINANCE NO. 1927
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, STATE OF IDAHO, BY REPEALING SECTION 14 OF CHAPTER
17, OF TITLE IV OF THE CITY CODE PERTAINING TO YARD SALES AND
ADDING A NEW SECTION 14, CHAPTER 17 OF TITLE IV REGARDING
YARD SALES: REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDER OR
PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO:
Section 1. That Section 14 of Chapter 17 of Title IV be
repealed.
Section 1. That a new Section 14 of Chapter 17 of Title IV
be added as follows:
4- 17 -14: YARD SALES:
No more than four ( 4 ) yard sales may be held by an
individual in a c y a n d n more than
four ( 4 ) yard sales may be held at one loc ation or
address in a calendar year. In addit n sale
may run for an excess of three (3) calendar days.
No sale may be advertised on publicl o wne d p
utility poles or trees in the public right of way.
Advertising may be done only on private property
with the permission of the ow ner.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval, and publication according
to law.
