AMENDING SECTION 14 OF ORDINANCE WO. IROe,,FNTITLFD
Ail ordinance regulating plumbing, ventilation and drainage
of buildings; to provide for a plumbing inspector, to de-
fine his duties and authority, and to regulate salaries
and fees;- to provide for a Board of Examiners, and to
provida for ail examit'iation and registration of plumbers;
and to provide penalties for the violation of this ordi-
nance P. PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
SAID CITY ON THE ISTH DAY OF JULY, 1910.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR 4ND COUNCIL Of THE CITY OF
CALDWELL.
SPCtion l.- That Section 14 of Ordinance No. 1$11 of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho, entitled, 11 Ail ordinanco regulating
plumbing ventilation and drainage of buildings; to provide
for a plumbing inspector, and to define his duties and
authority, and to regulate salary and fees;- to provide
a Board of Examiners, and to provide for ail examination and
registration of plumbers; and to provide penalties for the
violation of this ordinance 11 , passed and approved by
the Mayor and Council of said city on the l8th day of
July, 1910, be and the same is hereby amended to read
as follows:
Section 14.- That sewer pipes in the yards shall of
cast iron pipe, or the best quality of vitrified pipe
with cemented joints; the same shall not be laid nearer
than two feet to an exterior wall_ of a building, and not
less than two feet below the surface of theground:
Provided, that where the sewer is less than two feet
below the surface of the ground cast iron pipe placed

to as great a depth as - bossible�in the ground to insure
sufficient drainage, shall be used iii the yards .
Passed by the Council this day of April, 1911.
