ORDINANCE NO. 1899
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TITLE XI, CHAPTER 4, OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF
IDAHO, PERTAINING TO TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES BY CHANGING
LANGUAGE IN SECTION 2 REGARDING SPECIFICATIONS FOR TRAFFIC
CONTROL DEVICES; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS,
ORDERS AND PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO;
Section 1. That the Municipal Code of the City of Caldwell
be amended by changing certain language in Section 2 of Title XI,
Chapter 4 regarding Specifications for Traffic Control Devices as
follows:
11 -3 -2: SPECIFICATIONS FOR TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES: All
traffic control signs, signals and devices shall
conform to The Manual on Uniform Traffic Control
Devices as published by the Department of Germevee,
Transportation Btrr of Pab±ic Roads, ±96
H Federal Highway Administration, 1988
Edition or the most recent edition of said manual
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval, and publication according
to law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Caldwell this
6th day of May , 1991.
