ORDINANCE NO. 1569
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN DESIGNATION OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, FROM LOW
DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (4 -6 DWELLING UNITS PER ACRE) TO HIGH
DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (10 -30 DWELLING UNITS PER ACRE);
DETERMINING THAT SAID CHANGE TO THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN IS IN
THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO; INSTRUCTING
THE PLANNING AND ZONING DIRECTOR TO DESIGNATE SAID PROPERTY
AS HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL ON THE CITY'S OFFICIAL
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MAP; AND REPEALING ALL LAWS, ORDINANCES
AND RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho:
WHEREAS, It has been determined by the City Council of the
City of Caldwell, Idaho, upon recommendations of the Planning and
Zoning Commission pursuant to section 6 -1 -7, Caldwell Code and
following the public hearing procedures as required in Section 6-
4-3, Caldwell Code, that the following described property be
redesignated from Low Density Residential to High Density
Residential on the City's Comprehensive Plan, and that said
change to the Comprehensive Plan is in the best interest of the
City of Caldwell,Idaho:
Lots 16A and 16B, Block 16, Pioneer subdivision.
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That certain land described above is now
designated as High Density Residential (10 -30 dwelling units per
acre) on the City's Comprehensive Plan after the date of this
ordinance.
Section 2. The Planning and Zoning Director of the City of
Caldwell is hereby instructed to so designate the same above
described property on the official Comprehensive Plan of the City
of Caldwell, Idaho, as being High Density Residential (10 -30
dwelling units per acre).
Section 3. All ordinances, resolutions, orders or parts
thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, rescinded and
annulled.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Caldwell, Idaho,
this 4th day of September, 1990.
APPROVED BY THE MAYOR of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, this
4th day of September, 1990.
