ORDINANCE NO. 1856
AN ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF CALDWELL, A MUNICIPAL
CORPORATION OF IDAHO, AMENDING TITLE II, BY CREATING A NEW
CHAPTER 16, SECTIONS 1 THROUGH 4 CREATING COMMISSION,
MEMBERSHIP, ORGANIZATION, AND DUTIES: REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDERS AND PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO:
Section 1. That the Municipal Code of the City of Caldwell
be amended to add a new Chapter 16, Title II, Section 1 through 4
establishing a Law Enforcement Commission as follows:
2 -16 -1: COMMISSION CREATED: There is hereby created and
established a Commission to be known as "Law
Enforcement Commission ".
2 -16 -2: MEMBERSHIP: The Law Enforcement Commission shall
consist of three members: The Mayor of the City of
Caldwell or his designate, The Chief of Police, and a
Member of the City Council.
2 -16 -3: ORGANIZATION: The Commission shall meet as called by
the members of the Commission.
2 -16 -4: DUTIES: The Commission is formed for the purpose of
establishing crime control in the City of Caldwell.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinances shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication
according to law.
