ORDINANCE NO. 1847
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TITLE IX, CHAPTER 1, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO,
PERTAINING TO GENERAL OFFENSES BY ADDING A NEW SECTION 62
REGARDING WORM PRODDING PROHIBITED: REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES,
RESOLUTIONS, ORDERS AND PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho, County of Canyon, State of Idaho:
Section 1. That Title IX, Chapter 1 of the Municipal Code
of the City of Caldwell, County of Canyon, State of Idaho, shall
be amended by adding a new Section 62 as follows:
9 -1 -62: WORM PRODDING PROHIBITED: It shall be unlawful for any
person to engage in activities involving the prodding,
whether by electronic means or not, and digging of worms
or insects on any property owned by the City of
Caldwell.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval, and publication according
to law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Caldwell this 2nd
day of A pril 1990.
APPROVED BY THE MAYOR of the City of Caldwell this 2nd day
of April 1 1990.
