ORDINANCE NO. 1846
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 14, TITLE II, OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, STATE OF IDAHO, PERTAINING TO
IRRIGATION COMMISSION BY DELETING AND ADDING LANGUAGE
IN SECTION 4 PERTAINING TO ORGANIZATION: REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDERS OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho, County of Canyon, State of Idaho:
Section 1. That Title II, Chapter 14, Section 4, of the
Municipal Code of the City of Caldwell, County of Canyon, State
of Idaho shall be amended by deleting and adding certain language
as follows:
2 -14 -4: ORGANIZATION: The Commission shall meet �°� +''� • °-�

p.m. in the Council Chambers. The Commission shall
elect officers from among the Commission members. The
Chairman shall preside at meetings of the Commission.
The Vice Chairman shall, in the absence of the Chairman,
perform the duties of the Chairman. All meetings of the
Commission shall be open to the public and follow the
requirements of Idaho's open meeting laws. The
Commission shall keep minutes and other appropriate
written records. A simple majority of Commission
members present at any given meeting constitutes a
quorum.
Section 2. All ordinances, resolutions, orders or parts
thereof, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, rescinded and
annulled.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to
law.
