ORDINANCE NO. 1845
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TITLE V, CHAPTER 1, SECTION 1, OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON,
STATE OF IDAHO, PERTAINING TO ADOPTION OF BUILDING CODE BY
ADDING AND DELETING CERTAIN LANGUAGE: REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDERS OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, IDAHO, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO:
Section 1. That Title V, Chapter 1, Section 1, of the
Municipal Code of the City of Caldwell. County of Canyon, State
of Idaho, shall be amended by adding and deleting certain
language pertaining to Adoption of Building Code as follows:
5 -1 -1: ADOPTION OF BUILDING CODE: There is hereby adopted
for the purpose of establishing rules and regulations for the
construction, - alteration, removal, demolition, use and occupancy,
location and maintenance of buildings and structures that certain
Building Code known as the Uniform Building code, Copyrighted by
the International Conference of Building Officials, 1988 Edition,
together with the inclusion of Appendix Chapter 32 and 70 as
amended 4rfk- and Appendix 12, Division II, and the 1988 edition of
the U.B.C. Standards which is on file in the Office of the
Building Official.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval, and publication according
to law.
