ME CITY OF CALDVELL IDAHO, TO THE jUNTOUITT OF FIFTY THOUSAND
DOLLARS (t50,OOO) AND PROVIDIXG FOR T139 PAMMXT THEREOF.
VM09AS at an election duly called and held in the
City of Caldwell, Idaho, on the 7th day of July, 1910, after
notice thereof had been duly given for the time and in the
manner required by law, there were authorized to be issued
Jjunicipal Coupon Bonds of the said City to the amount of
Fifty Thousand Dollars 0.,50,000) for extending the.water works
system; therefore,.
BE IT ORDAIXED by the Mayor and Council of the
City of Caldwell, Idaho:
Section 1. That for 'the purpose of extending the
water works system in the City of Caldwell there are hereby
authorized to be issued fifty (50) Municipal Coupon Bonds of
One Thousand Dollars 0'1000) each, dated the first day of
September, 1910, and payable on the first day of September,
1950, redeemable at the option of the City of Caldwell at any
time after the expiration of ten (10) years from their date
in their numerical order and beginning with the lowest number;
both principal and interest of said bonds to be made payable
at the office of the City Treasurer in the City of Caldwell,
Idaho, or at the Chase Hational Bank in the City of New York,
State of New York, at the option of the holder. Said bonds
shall bear interest evidenced by coupons at the rate of six
(6) per centum per annum, payable semi-annually and be num-
bered from 1 to 50 inclusive.
Section 2. The said bonds shall be in substantially

Caldwell, in the County of Canyon and State of Idaho, ac-
knowledges to owe and for value received hereby promises to
pay to bearer One Thousand Dollars, Gold Coin of the United
States of America, on the first day of September, 1930, with
interest thereon from the date hereof at t.he ra of six per
centum per annu�'.i, semi-annually on the first day of
January and of July in each year, except the last installment
which becomes due at the maturity of this bond, on presentation
and surrender of the annexed inte:.�7est coupons as they severally
become due. Both principal and interest of this bond are
hereby made payable at the office of the City Treasurer of
Caldwell, Idaho, or at the Chase "ational Bank in the City of
New York, State of Yew York, at the option of the holder.
This bond is redeermilble Oat the option of the City
of Caldwell in numerical order, beginning with the lowest
number, at any tijne after the first day of September, 1920.
This 'bond is one of a series of like tenor, issued
for the purpose of extendinT the water works system in the
City of Caldwell, under the authority of and in conformity and
compliance with Chapter 12, Title 13, of the Revise Political
Code of the State of Idaho; and is further authorized by an
election duly called and held on the '/th day of July, 1910.
And it is hereby certified and recited that all acts,
conditions and things required to be done precedent to and in
the issuing of this bond necessary to make the same legal and
valid, have been done, have happened and been performed in
regular and due form as required by law; that a direct annual
tax has been duly levied for the payment of the principal and
interest of this bond and that the total indebtedness of the
City of Caldwell, including this bond, does not exceed the
statutory or constitutional limitations.
IN TESTIMONY VVIMEUs'OF the City Council of the City
of Caldwell, Idaho, has caused this bond to be signed by the
Mayor, attested by the City Clerk, under the corporate seal,
and countersigned by the City Treasurer, and has cz. the
annexed interest coupons tob e signed by the lithographed
signature of the City Treasurer, this first day of September,
1910.

office of the City Treasurer in the City of Caldwell, Idaho,
or at the Chase National Bank in the City of New York, State
of I-T.evi York, at the option of the holder, for interest due
that day on its-Municipal Coupon Water Bond No. __ issued
by virtue of and in conformity and compliance with Chapter 12,
Title 13 of the Political Code of the State of Idaho.

Section J. For the purpose of providing for the
payment of the principal and interest of the bonds hereby
authorized there shall be and there is hereby levied a direct
annual tax upon all: the taxable property in the City of
Caldwell sufficient to produce the sum of Five Thousand Five
Hundred 'Dollars ($ 500) in each of the years 1910 to 1929,
both inclusive, and provision to meet the requirements of
this section shall in due time, manner and season be annually
hereafter made.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in force from
and after its passage and publication.
