AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TITLE I, CHAPTER 4, OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF
IDAHO, PERTAINING TO MAYOR BY DELETING AND ADDING LANGUAGE IN
SECTION 3, REGARDING CONFLICTING INTERESTS AND SECTION 4,
REGARDING WORK HOURS: REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS,
ORDERS OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, IDAHO, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO:
Section 1. That Title I, Chapter 4 of the Municipal Code of
the City of Caldwell, County of Canyon, State of Idaho, shall be
amended by deleting and adding certain language in Section 3
pertaining to Conflicting Interests and in Section 4 pertaining
to Work Hours as follows:

1 -4 -3: CONFLICTING INTERESTS: The Ma yor shal not engage
in any economic endeavor that conflicts with the duties of the
office.
1 -4 -4: Work Hou The Mayor shall devote not less than
forty (40) hours per week to performing the duties of the office,
excepting therefrom holiday and v acation periods as established
by the Mayor and Council.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication
according to law.

day of Oct , 1989.
