BE IT ORDAINED 3Y THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE; CITY OF
CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO:
Section 1. That Chapter 9, Title ; be amended to a0➢
Sections 26, 27, 28 and 29 as follows:
11-9-26: DOWN!TO�JN PARKING Parking in the 0owntowr
district will be limited to two (2) hours between the hours of
9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.rr,., Hon(lay through Saturclay. Vehicles must
be moved at least one city block from the original parking space
to avoid violation of this ordinance. The Jowntown area will be
defined as the area bordered on the north by the railroad tracks,
on the south by Cleveland Foulevar•-I, on the west bv Fifth Street,
and on tne east by Tenth Street.
11-9-27: SPECIAL PERMIT: The City Council by a Resolution
may designate certain low use parking spaces in the downtown area
as special permit arc-as. Special permits may be issued by the
City Clerk to perscns or businesses at a rate of 912.00 per
year
11-10-28 FINE SCHEDULE: Vne fine schedule for parking
violations in the City of Caldwell is as follows:
Overtime parking 2.00
Parking in a designated handicapped s� 25.00
All others 5.00
11-11-29: FAILURE TO PAY PARKINC VIOLATIO1 If a person
fails to pay a narking violation, said failure to pay may result
in the issuance of a summons. The fine and court costs for
ordinance - 1 -
summons will be set by I.I.R. 9(b)(5). Failure to appear on the
summons could result in the suspension of a person's driver's
license as provided by Idaho Code.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from anC after its passage, approval, and publication according
to law.
