ORDINANCE NU. 1757
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE
CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, FROM R-2T MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL
(MOBILE HOME OVERLAY) TO a-1T LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (MOBILE HOME
OVERLAY); DETERL41NING THAT SAID CHANGE IN ZONING IS IN THE BEST
INTEREST OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO; INSTRUCTING THE CITY
ENGINEER TO DESIGNATE SAID PROPERTY AS M-lT LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
(MOBILE HOME OVERLAY) ON THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP; AND REPEALING
ALL LAWS, ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, IDAHO:
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City council o f th
City of Caldwell, Idaho, upon recommendation of the Planning and
Zoning Commission and following the public hearing procedures as
required in 6-4-3, Caldwell Code, that the following described
property be rezoned from R-2T medium density residential (mobile
home overlay) to M-IT light industrial (mobile home overlay) and
that said rezoning is in the best interest of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho:
All of Blocks 87 and BS of Golden Gate Addition, the
Official Plat Of which is on file and of record in the
office of the Recorder of Canyon County, Idaho, including to
the centerline of adjacent streets, more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the centerline of Plymouth
Street (formerly U.S. Highway 30) with the centerline of
North First Avenue; thence Northeasterly along the
centerline of said N. First Avenue to the Southwesterly
boundary of the Notus-Black Canyon Canal; thence
Southeasterly along said Southwesterly boundary and
Southwesterly boundary extended to its intersection with the
centerline of N. Illinois Avenue; thence Southerly along
said centerline of 14. Illinois Avenue to its intersection
with the centerline of Plymouth Street; thence Northwesterly
along said centerline of Plymouth Street to its intersection
with the centerline of N. First Avenue, the POINT OF
BEGINNING.
The street address of the property in the rezoned area is
115 E. Plymouth Street.
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That certain land described above is now zoned
M-1'I' light industrial (mobile home overlay) and shall be so
changed from R-2T medium density residential (mobile home
overlay) after the date of this Ordinance.
Section 2. The City Engineer of the City of Caldwell is
hereby instructed to so designate the same above-described
property on the Official Zoning Map of the City of Caldwell,
Idaho, as being M-IT light industrial (mobile home overlay).
ORDINANCE - 1
Section 3. All ordinances, resolutions, ocueza or parts
thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, rescinded and
annulled.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
