ORDINANCE NO. 1747
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, STATE OF IDAHO BY ADDING AND DELETING LANGUAGE IN
SECTION 14(A), CHAPTER 17, TITLE IV OF THE CITY CODE
REGARDING YARD SALES, PERMIT REQUIRED: REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDERS OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO:
Section 1. That Section 14(A), Chapter 17, Title IV of the
Municipal Code of the City of Caldwell, Canyon County, Idaho be
amended as follows:
4- 17 -14: YARD SALES:
(A) Permit required: Merchandising efforts commonly known
as garage sales, moving sales, block sales, patio sales and
flea markets may be held in residential areas only after a
Permit has been issued by the City elerk of Caldwell Applieati -em

prev4de&T Application may be obtained from the City Clerk or
from the Police Department for a one dollar ($1.00) fee Such
permit shall be prominently displayed at the sale.
Section 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval, and publication according to
law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Caldwell this 15th
day of June , 1987.
