AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING OP CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY
OF CALDWELL,IDAHO,PROM R-2 MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO C-2 COM
MUNITY COMMERCIAL;DETERMINING THAT SAID CHANGE IN ZONING IS IN THE
BEST INTEREST OP THE CITY OP CALDWELL,IDAHO;INSTRUCTING THE CITY
ENGINEER TO DESIGNATE SAID PROPERTY AS C-2 COMMERCIAL ON THE OFFICIAL
ZONING MAP;AND REPEALING ALL LAWS,ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OP THE CITY OF CALDWELL,
IDAHO:
WHEREAS,it has been determined by the City Council of the City
of Caldwell,Idaho,upon recommendation of the Planning and Zoning
Commission and following the public hearing procedures as required
in 6-4-3,Caldwell Code,that the following-described property be
rezoned from R-2 Medium Density Residential to C-2 Community Commer
cial,and that said rezoning is in the best interest of the City of
Caldwell,Idaho:
The Southeasterly 50 feet of Lot 2,Block 15,Washington Heights,
Steunenberg and Hands Addition to Caldwell,Idaho,the official
plat of which is on file and of record in the office of the Re
corder of Canyon County,Idaho,including half of adjacent street
and alley rights-of-way.
Property address affected by the rezoning is 2024 Blaine Street.
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.That certain land described above is now zoned C-2
Community Commercial and shall be so changed from R-2 Medium Density
Residential after the date of this ordinance.
Section 2.The City Engineer of the City of Caldwell is hereby
instructed to so designate the same above-described property on the
Official zoning Map of the City of Caldwell,Idaho.
Section 3.All ordinances,resolutions,orders or parts there
of in conflict herewith are hereby repealed,rescinded and annulled.
Section 4.This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL this 18th day
of August ,1986.
