HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 16790 a r BILL NO. 17 ORDINANCE NO. 1679 AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, FROM R -2T MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO C -3T SER- VICE COMMERCIAL AND DETERMINING THAT SAID CHANGE IN ZONING IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO; REPEALING ALL LAWS, ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALD- WELL, IDAHO: WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, upon recommendation of the Planning; and Zoning Commission and following the public hearing procedures as required in 6 -4 -3, Cald Code that the property described as the Northwesterly 205 feet of the Southwesterly 128 feet of Block 78 of Golden Gate Addition to Caldwell, Idaho, the official plat of which is on file and of record in the office of the Canyon County Recorder, Caldwell, Idaho, be rezoned from R -2T Medium Density Resi- dential to C -3T Service Commercial and that said rezoning is in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan and is in the best interest of the City of Caldwell, it is hereby ordained as follows: Section 1. That certain land described above is now zoned C -3T Service Commercial and shall be so changed from R -2T Medium Density Residential after the date of this ordinance. Section 2. The City Engineer of the City of Caldwell is hereby instructed to so designate the same above - described property on the official zoning map of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, as being Q -3T Service Commercial. Section 3. All ordinances, resolutions, orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, rescinded and annulled. Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL this 28th day of August, 1984.
